Status: Native; Common.

Growth Form or Habit: Climber.

Leaves: Simple; Usually large; Thickly membranous. Midrib is rusty-pubescent.

Stem: Rusty-tomentose when young; Later glabrous and dark-colour with grooves.

Occurrence: Bukit Timah Nature Reserve, MacRitchie Reservoir forest and Botanic Gardens’ jungle.
